After learning about Lil L in part two of VICELAND’s Bompton documentary series, the cameras catch up with him again to hear how he’s staying out of the streets aside from rapping.
In “Trap Kitchen,” they visit with a business established by Bad News, which he started with a crip homie out of an old trap house. His aspirations were to get out of the gang lifestyle and put his cooking skills to the test, and has now catered for the likes of Tyga, Chief Keef and Fredo Santana. Lil L helps with the team as well, and the two are hoping to lock in Kendrick Lamar‘s wedding soon.
As Kendrick explained in the piece, most folks in the neighborhood don’t want to be banging, they want to send their kids to college and move out of the lifestyle, but it’s the circumstances they’re placed in that keep them trapped. Not only in jail, but in their mind as well.
