For those who have been keeping up with the site for a while now, you will have noticed our attention to detail on Brian Burton and the various projects he’s been working on over the years (see: Danger Mouse: An Experimental Journey). Building on a brilliant relationship with Portugal. The Man, we’re provided with part one of a short film that will coincide with the release of Broken Bells’ upcoming album, with the story based on an idea surrounding the producer himself. Guest starring Anton Yelchin and Kate Mara as leading roles, the plot follows a man’s focus of falling in love with a spacewoman on a planet unheard of, with the intimacy of their fondness proving to grow and several problems begin to unravel.
