Whenever a Cam’ron video surfaces, we’re expecting some serious laughs, because everything he does is comedy. That’s exactly why “Giles Investigation” had us ready to fall on the floor laughing. Unfortunately, that wasn’t quite the case. Or maybe it’s different for you.
The first episode of his new web series finds Cam taking a trip with a crackhead named Face, who wanted to earn some extra bucks to get high. Face was formerly of BET’s Comic View and Def Comedy Jam, but had a knack for smoking the rock, so you can assume where things led from there. Cam always thought he was funny, either way, so he filmed this segment in 2007 about him to see if he was still on the block doing what he used to do.
From the streets to his apartment, all Face can do is ask for money (and settle for very little) to get high. He even break dances in the hallway to earn himself $11.
As Cam said, it is sad to watch the man smoke the rock, but his goal is to shed light to those even contemplating taking a hit, to watch what happens so they don’t end up like this too.
