Imagine doing an illegal dumping story for the news and coming up on a hidden stranger by way of a homeless person? That’s exactly what happened to an Oakland area newscast, after interviewing a guy ravaging through the trash. Turns out, his name was Marcus Malone, one of the original band members from the Santana band.
After doing research about him and the story airing on TV, Carlos Santana quickly tried to look for his old friend, but all his attempts led to dead ends. That was until they contacted the news station and led they them right to him. Shortly after, Carlos surprised and reunited with his ex band member and they both looked in shock.
In what may be a Christmas miracle, Carlos Santana has offered to help him get back on his feet and even get back in the studio with Marcus “The Magnificent” Malone. What a great story and happy ending for all parties involved.
