If you’re a Chance The Rapper super fan, you should be familiar with Austin Vesely. The director is responsible for music videos for “No Problem,” “Sunday Candy” and “Angels,” along with other videos for the likes of Kehlani and Eryn Allen Kane.
Now, Vesely is stepping up to the big leagues with his first ever feature film. Titled Slice, the upcoming movie stars Chance The Rapper and is produced by A24, the studio behind films such as Ex Machina, Amy, Room and The Lobster. It was quietly shot in Chicago over the summer and “centers around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys.”
Chance took to Twitter this week to share a teaser for the film, which will be available in theaters in 2017. This will be Chance’s feature debut, after starring in the short film Mr. Happy last year.
