Albert Hughes, director of Menace II Society and The Book of Eli, enlists Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg for the upcoming crime drama film “Broken City.” In this film, Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) has been double-crossed and framed by mayor (Russell Crowe) as he follows his wife Emily Barlow (Catherine Zeta-Jones) in a deeper scandal that he’s not prepared for to get answers in a relentless pursuit to clear his name.
The trailer alone looks intriguing enough for all us to at least keep on our radar for the top of next year. This movie also features Catherine Zeta-Jones, Barry Pepper and Kyle Chandler to name a few from this star-studded cast.
Broken City hits theaters worldwide on January 18, 2013.
