Chris Rock Says Kanye West’s “MBDTF” Is Best Album In Past 25 Years

He is influenced by Hip-Hop

Chris Rock‘s Top Five film is right around the corner, due out nationwide in theaters this Friday. In a final push before the movie is released, he sits down with the New York Times to talk a little about music, comedy and where he took some of his classic jokes from.

Not only did he say he stole his “Black people vs. n*****s” joke from an Ice Cube track, he mentioned Rakim was his favorite lyricist of all time. He also made the bold statement that Kanye West‘s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is the best piece of music in the past 25 years, even surpassing the timeless classic Thriller, by Michael Jackson.

We don’t deny the album is great, but troll so hard, right Chris?
