Wait, Chris Rock had an old Rap record deal? Apparently it was way back in the day because it wasn’t even for an album, it was a for a 12″. From what he said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he was signed to Atlantic because he had some killer DJ moves (like Kid Capri?!), but he got signed for a rap album, recorded it and it never saw the light of day. He doesn’t even know where the old vinyl is but says Questlove would probably be the one to find it.
We’ll wait for DJ Rock to bust out a mix on Soundcloud now.
