Today, legendary footwear brand Converse and well-known Paris-based fashion designer Maison Martin Margiela drop their highly anticipated collaboration collection, putting a high-end Margiela spin on Converse’s signature models. The collection features the classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star’s (high & low), and the Jack Purcell’s, completely covered in the signature Margiela white paint. As you rock each sneaker, the white paint starts to crack showing a underlying colorways, including Margiela’s vintage yellow.
In the video below, check out a short film showing off the design process of the two brands’ collaboration in a very unique way. The Converse x Maison Martin Margiela collection will be available today at all Margiela retailers, and will hit select Converse retailers worldwide on September 20th.
