The story of Jim Jones is coming to the small-screen
The continuation of Breaking Bad isn’t happening just yet, but its original creator is set to share another tale next year on television.. HBO has officially tapped series head, Vince Gilligan to help curate a new mini-series on the Jim Jones cult, entitled Raven. The show will tell the story of Jones goading his cult of followers that committed a mass-murder suicide in 1978.
The horrific events of Jonestown, Guyana from last century, will also spawn from the non-fiction book, Raven: The Untold Story of Jim Jones and will be told from the perspective of a rare survivor. Look for more details regarding the new mini-series from Mr. Gilligan to surface next year, as well as the third season of Better Caul Saul on AMC he’s also executive producing.
