Last year, many comedians were in favor of Donald Trump winning Presidency – giving them better material for the next four year. One of those entertainers, Dave Chappelle planned to resurrect his Rick James character for a special edition of Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update. Coincidentally, Chappelle’s hosting gig was just days after the election, as his long-time friend Neal Brennan had big plans. In the sketch, Chappelle was set to showcase how glad he was that Mr. Trump lost; but a Trump victory forced Brennan to redo the entire sketch, just hours with SNL writer Michael Che.
