As DC Comics prepares the world for their blockbuster release of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice later this week, the company has let loose some major news for 2017 and beyond. In the midst of their kick-off week for their year’s biggest release, the company prepares for its 2017 roll-out of Justice league: Part One, as Amber Heard has announced she’ll make her first appearance in the DCU next year as Mera. The 29-year-old actress has also been cast for the standalone Aquaman film, which will release the following year under the brand. Amber will star opposite of Game of Thrones star, Jason Momoa, as she explains above with ET that she’s even tried on the final costume.
