California-based Skate brand Diamond Supply Co has linked up with Chicago tastemaker IBN Jasper for a very limited sneaker collection. IBN Jasper has been one of hip hops most respected tastemakers for the past couple of years, being Kanye West’s style consultant and also a member of the DONDA designer team. Jasper has always been a big piece of Kanye’s fashion influence, lending a helping hand in the design of Ye’s popular Nike “Air Yeezy” franchise, and also getting his own signature designed shoe from the Kanye x Louis Vuitton sneaker collection released in the years past.
Being that skateboarding is one of his favorite hobbies, IBN Jasper links up with Diamond Supply for a detailed, high quality, and very fashionable skate sneaker. Diamond, known for their core skate roots mesh well with jasper’s high-fashion background, giving us a mid moccasin-style shoe with premium Snake embossed leather. The sneaker also features zippers on the heels, and tassels on the toe.
1/2 of the Diamond Supply Co x IBN Jasper (Sneaker Collection) will be available exclusively at the Diamond Supply flagship Los Angeles Fairfax location on Saturday October 20th, in the blue diamond and grey colorways. The other half of the collection will be available at Chicago’s RSVP Gallery (IBN Jasper owned store) Sunday October 21st, in the black and red colorways. For people not in the the L.A. & Chicago area, the collection will be available in it’s entirety over at the Diamond Supply online store, October 20th.
