Did The “Breaking Bad” Finale Live Up To The Hype?

Saul Goodman

Better Call Saul! One character we were disappointed not to see on the finale was Saul Goodman. When Walter and Jesse were always paranoid, Saul brought a comedic aspect to the show and kept a good balance when things were too tense. As an official money launderer for Walt’s drug money, he played the typical Jewish lawyer who always looking for your best interest, including setting Skyler up with a car wash to help hide money initially.

What made us drawn to Saul, was that even though he was one of the dirtiest and conniving characters in the show, he did have a softer side to himself and was the only person that held Walter down when he was on the run. When things concluded, Sal was on the run to Nebraska for a new start in life, owning a vacuum repair shop. Like his time of doing criminal activity came to an end with Walt.

Saul’s the only character who’s not gone entirely from TV in a Breaking Bad sense, considering his spin off show Better Call Saul is coming soon. Maybe that’s why they left his character open-ended as well, because they have plenty to tell when the show comes around.
