HBO is currently lining up some new shows (see: The Night Of) for 2016, with a new series called Divorce airing this fall.
Let’s just say, it doesn’t take a genius to work out what it’s about. Sarah Jessica Parker stars in the lead role as Frances, who shocks her husband (Thomas Haden Church) by wanting a divorce. The trailer shows the pair talking about affairs in couples therapy and the advantages of splitting. If there’s one thing you learn from the clip: don’t grow a moustache.
Divorce was created by Sharon Horgan (known for UK shows Pulling and Catastrophe) and co-stars Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts and Sterling Jerins. The first season consists of 10, 30-minute episodes and will premiere on HBO later this year.
