Drake to Star in ‘Top Boy’ After Buying Rights to the Show

Drake, as usual, is one of the most-talked about artists at the moment with the release of his More Life playlist. Not only that, but his love of UK culture has never been more apparent, from his affiliation with grime artists like Skepta, Giggs, Section Boyz and Dave to spending a ton of time touring up and down the country of late.

Now, Drizzy is set to take things even futher with a role in popular British show Top Boy, which has been revealed by actor Ashley Walters. “We met up to start talking about the show and we are working out a role for him,” Walters says. “He loves acting, of course he wanted a part. He’s going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it.”

Drake bought the rights to the show after it was dropped by Channel 4 last year, but is now confirmed to star in the upcoming third season. Drizzy’s love of Top Boy traces back to 2014, as you can see from the tweet below.
