‘Straight Outta Compton’ is accurate – Eazy E’s daughter
Over the weekend, the official N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton finished with an impressive opening affair of $60 million. It marked the fifth largest debut in the history of August, as the pioneers of gangster rap (alongside the originator Ice T) surpassed all expectations for Universal Pictures. Last night, Don Lemon welcomed rapper Brandon ‘Tiny Doo’ Duncan and Eazy E’s daughter, E.B. Wright to CNN Tonight. While E.B. is readying her own documentary for her father, she still had admiration for the film and his portrayal in the project.
From the story line, to actor Jason Mitchell, she felt the majority of the film was accurate for the 20-year-old generation to learn more about the Los Angeles group’s impact in the late 80s.
