Are you in favor Charlie’s Angels returning?
After 15 years since its introduction to this generation, Sony has decided to reboot the Charlie’s Angels franchise. This time, however, Elizabeth Banks has been tapped to direct the upcoming next installment of the classic franchise. Along with giving the new film her vision, she will join husband and producing partner Max Handelma to produce the upcoming untitled project.
Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu starred in the original 2000-hit, which we’re expecting a new trio of lady detectives to be announced in the coming months. After the 2003 sequel, Charlie’s Angles: Full Throttle, fans and critics weren’t in favor of the series continuing at the time, but Sony has allowed time to pass by for an all-new franchise.
