Remember the lady who sat next to Jay-Z on the R train while he made his way to the Barclays Center last Fall? Well, MTV News caught up with her to get her thoughts on Hov’s latest opus Magna Carta Holy Grail. Off the bat, she admitted that she read a few reviews of the album ahead of time to get a feel for the project and its aesthetic.
She then listened to clips from “Holy Grail,” “BBC” and “Part II (On The Run)” and gave her opinion on each. It’s pretty interesting to see an elderly woman comment on Jay, but even she picked up on some of what he was saying through (edited?) snippets.
