The hype for the all-new season of EMPIRE was real and it kicked off tonight.
After last year, we couldn’t even predict what would happen with Lucious Lyon behind the jail cell and the fact his family was ready to take the company under their control from right under his nose. With a crazy cast of cameos announced prior to the season, the drama and the stakes were bound to get realer and it showed in the first episode. Everyone was plotting on one another.
From the jump you can hear Cookie talking about taking over the company and the whole episode revolved around that and how Lucious is still running things from inside the box. There was murder, backstabbing, lesbi-honest action, shock and everything in the first episode.
