‘Friday Night Lights’ Meets Theater
Almost five years have passed since we said a sad goodbye to Dillon and the wonderful world of Friday Night Lights, when the fifth season came to an end in early 2011.
However, the beloved show is set to be revived for theater next year, with a musical called The Unauthorized Friday Night Lights Musical coming to Los Angeles. Jordan Ross and Lindsey Rosin, who were behind adaptions of The O.C. and Cruel Intentions, are taking charge of the project.
Fans will be pleased (and confused) to know that the role of Coach Taylor will be played by Scott Porter, the actor who played Jason Street.
