We are knee deep into HBO’s Game of Thrones season six and while the hit TV series is starting to get real crazy after the return of Jon Snow, author George RR Martin is still cooking up the sixth novel, Winds of Winter in the meantime.
Martin released a new chapter from the series (for those who can’t wait) on his website, and it comes from the perspective of Dorne princess Arianne Martell. If you watch the show, you’re probably wondering who the fuck that is because she doesn’t appear, but you’re probably familiar with the Sand Snakes, who are causing havoc on the TV series right now. The chapter follows her interactions with them.
“You want to know what the Sand Snakes, Prince Doran, Areo Hotah, Ellaria Sand, Darkstar, and the rest will be up to in Winds of Winter? Quite a lot, actually. The sample will give you a taste. For the rest, you will need to wait. And no, just to spike any bullshit rumors, changing the sample chapter does NOT mean I am done.”
Though there is no timeline for the book’s release, this may be able to shed a little more light on what’s to come for the GOT nerds and maybe more clues on the HBO series.
