CAST THAT SHIT!
Welcome to the next generation of Google Chromecast. Google released the second edition of their widely popular streaming dongle, which has been upgraded with faster loading times (up to 80%, they claim), an all-new Chromecast app with new features and more ways to cast things to your TV.
The device is still $35 dollars, but now you can do a lot more with it.
For one, Google has partnered with plenty of companies to give you “Fast Play,” a faster way to cast to your TV thanks to cache that will be pre-loaded and algorithms that can predict what you’re going to watch before you even click play. You will also be able to cast games and use your phone as a controller, discover more ways to watch though better app support and best of all, have optimized Wi-Fi streaming so you always get the best quality video on your television.
With a new look and more capabilities, the new Chromecast should definitely something to consider in the next few months and certainly for the upcoming holiday shopping.
