Google Purchases Songza

Songza has been an increasingly powerful software in recent years, and Google have officially purchased the rights for the company today. The music service has been one of the driving platforms through its variety of options in musical streaming, with the ability to choose sounds to fit any activity or mood, along with an option of genre and decade. Apple have become even more of a rival company since their purchase of Beats By Dre, with Google looking to target an audience of their own.

For those who are unaware of Songza, the platform builds playlists from personal human creation from critics and musicians, rather than letting the technical elements handle the work. While there’s no current price on the purchase, we’re sure Songza wouldn’t join forces for a small price, which is rumored at around $15 million.
