HBO Is Coming to SLING TV in April

Looks like Apple TV isn’t the only game in town that will carry HBO‘s standalone streaming service. DISH Network has reached an agreement that will bring their channel to the ever growing Internet TV bundle for $15 dollars a month. Subscribers will be able to watch HBO as well as enjoy their video-on-demand service, which would be priced on top of the $20 dollars the regular subscription to SLING TV currently costs.

Although it’s not confirmed that HBO Now will be offered in time for the Game of Thrones premiere, Dish will actually serve as a distributor of the service for those who might want to sign up to the channel, but not the Internet TV service.

In related news, DISH also reached a new deal with Turner Broadcasting, which will give more leeway for those who want to enjoy TBS, TNT, CNN, and Cartoon Network. It was reported that certain games on those networks were blacked out, but that problem has now been solved right around the corner for the NCAA’s Final Four to kick off this weekend.
