Who the hell is this Holy Wayne guy and what does he have to do with anything?
Although it feels at times like we have no idea what is happening on The Leftovers, the Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta helmed series will continue for a second season, as HBO has decided to bring back the series. For whatever reason, we keep watching every week, much like the average 1.6 million and 1.8 million viewers who do the same.
We have to admit, the show has picked up in recent episodes and we’re hoping the old chief’s lunacy, the rabid dogs and Guilty Remnant philosophy makes some sort of damn sense by the season finale, which airs on the network on September 7.
Whether you love it or hate it, The Leftovers will live another year (not like the departed who left the earth on the show).
