This probably doesn’t come as a surprise to anybody, considering Westworld is one of the biggest shows on HBO right now. But the series has now been officially renewed for a second season.
The show takes viewers into the future, where a park with robots is used as the playground for every earthly desire a human would want. Many hosts can go in, kill people, torcher, help or do whatever they want to those inside the story lines. The problem is, the robots are starting to gain consciousness and the park managers are left dealing with the consequences.
And last night’s episode was a complete bombshell and plot twist. We won’t spoil it, though.
According to HBO, they have already planned out about five seasons worth of material, so unless ratings plummet between now and then, we’ll get a healthy amount of Westworld. The recaps, Reddit theories, podcasts and predictions will not go away any time soon.
