Introducing iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus with 3D Touch
When you normally think of an “iPhone S,” it’s normally expected of a smaller device to soon take the reins of its predecessor. However, Apple decided to take things up a notch with the larger revealing of its iPhone 6s, noticeably bigger than the standard six. Both smartphones are nearly identical from a looks perspective but the new 6s will feature new 3D Touch implement, through its Force Touch technology previously used on the Apple Watch and MacBook.
Although the RAM, GPU and CPU weren’t revealed, it was evident of a speed increase for ease of access and faster commonly used functionalities. The highlight of the 6s and 6s Plus revealing however, was its new12 megapixel iSight camera with 4K. For years, fans have been crying out for a new camera, as the long-awaited jump to 4K video capturing might be worth the upgrade alone.
Pre-orders begin this Friday, starting at $199 and $299 for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus – which hit retail on September 25th. There’s also a new iPhone Upgrade Program for US consumers that charges $32 a month for a new unlocked iPhone if you’re planning on making a switch or jump.
