Introducing Apple Pencil
We’ve explained the rollout for the Apple iPad Pro on the previous page, but a simple pencil deserved its own page. In the past, Steve Jobs said he was never fond of having a stylus with Apple products, but the powers that be (or Tim Cook) have now decided to implement a new Apple Pencil.
However, Apple claims that its new $99 pencil for the Pro device isn’t a stylus, but more-so targeted for users and their creative work. From drawing, document annotation with Microsoft Office apps and publication layout usage with Adobe Creative Suit, the newly introduced technology also features pressure sensitivity and angle detection.
With multi-touch being one of the stand-out devices for the PRO, your finger and pencil will be distinct to provide the most precise usage of using lighter or harder. Whether or not consumers are willing to shell out an extra hundred bucks for the mobilized Mac Book remains to be seen.
