One upcoming film that should be taken note of later this year is an action/thriller titled Homefront, which was directed by Gary Fleder and acts as his first feature-length in 13 years. Correlating with Chuck Logan’s book of the same name, the narrative also includes film-writing credits from Sylvester Stallone.
Starring the likes of Jason Statham, James Franco, Winona Ryder and Kate Bosworth, viewers are provided with an enticing story that involves an undercover agent working under the Department Of Justice, who happens to run into the lives of a team of drug traffickers that take his personal life into account. Although the role doesn’t typically fit into the large filmography of Statham, the actor’s contribution to a less action-filled movie should certainly give people a chance to see yet another side of his talent.
Expect the film to hit theaters on November 27th via Open Road Films.
