How close is Heather Dunbar from winning the Presidency?
According to season three, the two were neck and neck going into the Iowa caucus and we all saw who made it out on top. Even with speculation that the First Lady wasn’t there to support and that things were troubled in their marriage, Frank gave the victory speech.
Even after Jackie Sharp threw her support towards Dunbar’s way when Frank threw her under the bus, she still couldn’t win. What makes us think that she’d come away with the win in season four? Without Frank in the President’s chair, there would be no more House of Cards. We can’t imagine a world where Frank lost the Presidency and had to start over from scratch after alienating 95% of everyone in his life. His rule as a tyrant has to continue.
