Are you interested in ad-free HULU videos for double the price?

In recent years, Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video have pushed a big emphasis on no ads while streaming content. As HULU’s library continues to increase with landing streaming homes for the majority of everything that airs on TV, including their own original programing, the video giant is looking to finally adD what consumers have been waiting for since its original introduction to the masses in 2007. The Wallstreet Journal has learned that HULU is exploring plans of adding an advertiser-free option to its service in the coming months.

While this move is directly aimed at competing with Netflix for ad-free content, the option could see a price hike from $7.99 up to $13.99 as early as fall. At the moment, the project is code named NOAH (No Ads HULU), which subscribers will have the choice of standard premium or the new introduction for its roll-out in a few months.
