In a futuristic world of Androids (or Synths, as they call it on the show), people better be careful they don’t gain consciousness. That’s exactly what’s happening on Westworld and in Season 2 of the AMC show Humans.
Last season, the show ended with one of the synths (Niska) sailing out into the world alone without her family, looking for a purpose. Her remaining brothers and sisters stayed behind.
So what’s happened since? Turns out that in the Hawkins family, the dad lost his job to a synth, Mia fell in love with a human and the world around them is starting to see more tension between synths and humans. Not to mention a bunch of them are beginning to gain consciousness.
We’ll find out when the AMC series returns in February of 2017.
