BAH HUMBUG
Are you ready to meet your next Mr. Scrooge? He doesn’t look anything like what you’d expect or saw on A Christmas Carol, but Universal Pictures has picked up a script starring Ice Cube in the new version of the movie titled Humbug. The film is going to be a modern remake of the Charles Dickens Christmastime classic that still revolves around a wealthy, grumpy businessman who is haunted by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
The movie will be directed by Tim Story, who has worked with Cube in past movies like Barbershop and Ride Along. Lookout for the project to drop in 2017.
