Idris Elba Sings Desiigner and Lionel Richie on The Tonight Show

You know every time we see Idris Elba doing anywhere, we’re thinking Stringer Bell from The Wire. It’s been a minute since we caught anything of his, but he made his way to The Tonight Show last night to play a game with Jimmy Fallon. This segment is called “Box of Microphones” and the two had to sing different songs with mics that have different voice effects.

Elba got the first pick and managed to sing Desiigner‘s “Panda” in a chipmunk voice, while Jimmy sang Drake‘s “One Dance” with chopped and screwed vocals. Then the two sang a duet of Lionel Richie‘s “Endless Love” with different effects to end things.

It was ugly.

Then Idris showed off his dance moves and talked about DJ’ing over the years.
