Have you updated Instagram yet? The social network has announced that they are going through a fresh new start, incorporating a new icon and redesign of the app.
Apparently, the company has listened to its users and made it more friendly to them with the update, bringing things to a more modern front with its new icon and slight change in design. The point is to make the user photos stand out. To bring more focus to the user.
So how did they achieve this? With a few tweaks. The blue colors inside the app turned white. The orange notification status turned a pinkish hue. The photo editing menu is now black and white. The feel of the app is still the same, but with a slight difference. It seems like the company just needed a little refresh, while still keeping things native to the power user.
More changes are on the way as well. Not to mention that algorithm that resembles Facebook they’re trying to push on everyone. Whether this turns you off or more on to the app remains to be seen.
