Quite easily one of the most important actors of our own generation, Jack Nicholson has decided to retire from his major acting career at the age of 76. With dozens of the biggest hollywood films to his name, the reason for ending his work is down to memory loss, with the ability to simply remember lines not coming as first nature anymore. From the likes of Chinatown and One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest to A Few Good Men and The Departed, there’s no question whether his performances have been some of the most inspiring of many years. Jack’s last ever position in film came from his role as Charles Madison in How Do You Know, which saw him star alongside Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson.
