Based on an original character created by Tom Clancy, who sadly passed away this week, the next movie in the franchise goes by the name of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, which is expected to arrive towards the end of 2013.
Starring the likes of Chris Pine, Kenneth Branagh, Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley and David Paymer, the action/thriller follows the life of a dedicated CIA analyst, who manages to track down a Russian plan to destroy much of the US economy through a terrorist attack, leaving Jack Ryan with no choice but to put the matters to end by taking things into his own hands.
You’ll be able to see the movie in theaters on December 25th.
