On December 2nd, a film about former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy will be released, with Natalie Portman playing the Oscar-contending lead role.
The biopic, titled Jackie, follows the time when Jacqueline was First Lady at the White House, and her life after her husband John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 in Dallas, Texas. It’ described as “a searing and intimate portrait of one of the most important and tragic moments in American history.”
Pablo Larraín directed the film, also starring Greta Gerwig, Peter Sarsgaard, Beth Grant, John Hurt and Billy Crudup.
