Jared Leto is Confused About His Future as Joker

Awkward. . .

With filming for Suicide Squad still on hold until late 2018, Warner Bros. has multiple Joker projects, involving multiple Jokers in the works. One of which revealed, was Leonardo DiCaprio being tapped for a Joker origin story, being helped by Martin Scorsese and Todd Phillips.

This would mark the first time ever that the DCEU would have two active Joker actors. At the moment, Leto is set to reprise his role in Suicide Squad, as well as teaming up with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn for an untitled film in the future. However, Jared is unfortunately confused about his role with DC Comics and Warner Bros. During a recent interview, Leto gave his stance on the project saying, “I love the Joker. He’s a great character and really fun character to play.

But it’s a big universe and when you play the Joker, there’s no ownership there. You have the honor of holding the baton for a little while and then passing it off. There are other films that are in development and I’m excited to see what comes from them.” We just hope this gets cleared up, with an official announcement at Comic-Con next summer, or beforehand.
