Jerry Heller Files $110 Million Defamation Lawsuit against Dr. Dre & Ice Cube

The Straight Outta Compton saga could be heading to court!

Throughout the entire promotional rollout for the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, we were wondering why Jerry Heller was quiet regarding his non-involvement with the box office smash. Well, the former executive of Ruthless Records and manager of one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time has let his paper work against the rapper-moguls speak volumes.

Heller has now filed a $100 million dollar lawsuit against Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, NBC Universal and unfortunately the estate of Eazy-E for his depiction in the biopic. TMZ reports, that Jerry felt his portrayal of taking advantage of the Los Angeles youths was inaccurate after his financial disputes with the previously mentioned members.

While the film has grossed well over $200 million domestically, Jerry is seeking $75 million punitive damages and $35 million in compensatory funds, in part of the 10-figure lawsuit. However, the biggest eye-raiser in the suit, is that he also wants all the profits from the film.

Look for more details to emerge in soon if the parties don’t have an out-of-court settlement.
