Season seven of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee is kicking off with, by far, the biggest guest he’s ever had on his show: President Obama. The only thing is, Jerry Seinfeld can’t really take him out for coffee or for a walk near Washington D.C. (for obvious reasons), so they had to kick it at the White House and improvise.
Jerry still showed up in a slick ass vehicle, this time being the 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe in a light blue color, a classic among car aficionados.
The two then take a spin, get told they can’t leave and head to the cafeteria to talk about how much politicians are idiots, cursing when you want to let off some steam, why the car was a childhood dream of the POTUS and why politics compares to the NFL. The two also take a ride in “The Beast,” a Cadillac limo that’s made out of tank material and discuss ‘anonymity’ in the public and the benefits of being famous and/or recalling what it was like not to be in the public eye.
To end the episode, Barack jumps behind the wheel of the Corvette and rides around the White House roads, cruising with Jerry and enjoying the few minutes of driving. You know he doesn’t do that often. Too bad he wasn’t bumping Future while he was at it.
