This is the most grandma car we’ve ever seen.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee took a brief hiatus to film new episodes for its fourth season and it is now upon us. To set it all off, Jerry Seinfeld pulled up on Sarah Jessica Parker with the 1976 Ford Country Squire station wagon car-boat, a vehicle that actually belongs to Carrie Bradshaw. As she tells it, her family owned a car just like it growing up and she has fond memories of it.
It sure looks ugly and would be a pain in the ass to drive, though.
Somehow, the monstrosity makes it to Long Island’s Colony Diner where the two talk about how different the world is now, compared to then (see: getting up to change the channel on the TV, blinkers being loud, old car radios baffling them, etc.), the joys of parenting, what life was like for Jerry and much more. Sarah even went on a tangent about people sleeping all over the city. Folks laying down for some shut-eye was tripping her out. She wasn’t even stoned either. Or so she says.
Imagine them hitting the spacious back seat —slash “trunk” — and riding around with the window open? It happened.
