Jimmy Fallon shows his dark side in new parody sketch, House of Cue Cards.
Before fans show up to 30 Rockefeller Center in Manhattan to enjoy some laughs on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon goes through a long process of daily regimens to ensure he’s striving to gain more power in the populated late night scene. One person who knows exactly what he’s talking about is Frank Underwood from the popular Netflix series House of Cards.
Fallon decided to spoof the series with his spin in House of Cue Cards, revealing the daily process he has to go through before the bright lights of NBC Studios hits his face every night.
From boardroom meets with the network, plotting plans for his EMMY nomination with Claire Underwood (portrayed by Ellen Barkin) and even eating some ribs with Black Thought of The Roots – the world of politics and late night comedy are extremely similar.
The clip ends with Jimmy meeting an old friend for an epic conclusion. Watch how the world of the Tonight Show is not too different from House of Cards, in House of Cue Cards.
