Shit is about to get lit tonight as the season two premiere of EMPIRE hits FOX and to commemorate this special occasion, Jimmy Fallon has done a skit mirroring the show called JIMPIRE. The segment is actually quite funny and has select members of The Tonight Show as characters from the hit series.
For example, Questlove somehow plays the role of Jamaal Lyon. Black Thought is Hakeem and Steve Higgins plays the role of Cookie (ass and all).
The skit follows Jimmy’s plot to hand the show over to one of his people, but in the end, chooses against it. In a surprise twist, he gives it to someone you may never expect. You can also catch cameos from Terrence Howard and the real Cookie Lyon aka Taraji P. Henson.
