John Oliver Never Thought He’d Have To Care About Trump
Last night, John Oliver made a stop to The Late Show on CBS to chat with Stephen Colbert. In the brief interview, Oliver explained his original stance on not giving a damn about Donald Trump and his Presidential campaign, initially. However, with an imminent primary bid looming and a recent Last Week Tonight ether of the candidate last month, John went to breakdown how Donald has shied away from his ancestor name of Drumpf. Looking to separate the actions of the evil Trump name, Oliver sarcastically created a “Make Donald Drumpf Again” hat, which went viral.
After 35,000 items sold and all money going towards charity, as just joke at the time, he soon revealed that JAY Z’s people called HBO directly to get one of the hats – for free.
