We lowkey forgot this show was still on (sorry Spike), but Joseph Gordon-Levitt may have singlehandedly revived our interest in Lip Sync Battle. Then again, he was THE MAN when this was just a segment on Late Night, mopping the floor with whatever Stephen Merchant and Jimmy Fallon tried to do a few years ago.
He took it up a thousand notches for this edition, though. Channeling classic Janet Jackson, he performed “Rhythm Nation” on the cable show and gave the audience something to remember. Not only did he get the dance moves down, he even wore lipstick and a wig to really get his Janet on. The dance routine was seriously on point.
Anthony Mackie‘s rendition of MC Hammer‘s classic “2 Legit 2 Quit” had no chance.
