The JLD finally pilots into production in 2016!
Not to be confused with Justice League: Part One in 2017 featuring Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, Warner Bros. has announced Justice League Dark will begin shooting at some point in 2016. With Scott Rudin and Guillermo del Toro (no longer directing) set to producer the film, DC comics is quickly looking to find a director for the superhero team film next year.
Dark Universe is set to co-exist within the main Justice League universe team; which will be similar to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers. While other Dark Universe members will make an imminent appearance in future DC titles, we’ll keep you updated on who lands the big role for director of this big project.
