Monday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide cruised to their second consecutive BCS National Championship with an emphatic victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but what was the talk of the town after the fact? Katherine Webb. The girlfriend of quarterback AJ McCarron, got an overwhelming response from the public, after ESPN commentator Brent Musburger focused on her beauty during the national telecast.
For more than 10 seconds, Musbuger ravished over how gorgeous she was, so much that she became an instant star. Her Twitter page went from about 2,000 followers to over 200,000 in a matter of 24 hours and has been seen interviewed on the TODAY show, etc. Former Miss Alabama seems to be a very mature and humble, downplaying her new found celebrity status and “controversy” the media has tried to pit against her and the ESPN commentator, with some going as far as calling him creepy for his comments.
