Aside from promoting his Run the Jewels movement with El-P (and their upcoming Coachella performance this spring), Atlanta-based rapper Killer Mike is a well-known activist.
Tuesday night, K.M. was in Manhattan and made a stop to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. During the conversation, he took time to bring national notice how the United States government has been successful in segregating communities between lower and higher income neighborhoods.
Mr. Mike discussed how he’s attempting to help bridge the gap between communities of color – which soon transitioned to his brief political endorsement of Bernie Sanders.
